֎֍ Description
Sizdah Bedar, also known as Persian Nature Day, is celebrated on the 13th day of the Persian New Year (Nowruz), which usually falls on April 1st or 2nd. On this day, Iranians leave their homes to spend time outdoors in parks, gardens, or nature. It’s a day full of laughter, picnics, music, games, and joy. Families and friends gather to enjoy fresh air, eat traditional food, and celebrate the arrival of spring. The name “Sizdah Bedar” means “getting rid of thirteen,” as the number 13 is considered unlucky, and spending the day in nature is believed to bring good luck for the rest of the year.
This year, we’re celebrating it on April 5th in Paradiespark, Jena! Join us for a fun day of picnicking, games, and an evening full of dancing and music. Everyone is welcome!
⚠️ Note: The exact location will be shared in the comments section minutes before the event
⚠️ Note: Bring your Food, Snacks and Drinks. If interested you can also Grill. Got a picnic mat or rug? Bring it along so we can spread it out on the grass!
⚠️ Note: It’s expected to be sunny on Saturday, with 13°C at noon and around 8°C at night during the party—so don’t forget warm clothes for the evening!
