Get ready for a spectacular day of music, culture, and blooming beauty! We are heading out to celebrate the legendary 54th Kinder- und Rosenfest, and you are invited to join the fun.
๐ When & How We Are Getting There
Date: Sunday, 28.06.2026
Departure: We will be leaving together from Jena. Catch the RB25 train at exactly 10:23 AM, so please arrive a few minutes early to grab a seat with the group! We will get off directly at the Dornburg station.

The Rosenfest is a fantastic mix of tradition and community celebration. Here is what we have to look forward to during our trip:

The Royal March: The absolute pinnacle of the day is the traditional March of the Rose Queen. It is a brilliant display of local history and creativity. It is the perfect opportunity to bring out your Olympus camera and experiment with your prime lens to capture the beautifully detailed floats and vibrant flower arrangements!
