Get ready for a fantastic weekend getaway! We are heading out for a 3-day camping trip filled with outdoor cooking, water sports, hiking, and plenty of time to relax in nature.
⛺ Accommodation & Activities
The Tent: We have secured a large group tent that houses 10 people. We are looking into adding more spaces, but this is currently not guaranteed.
The Plan: Our general plan is to cook and eat together, enjoy some water sports, go hiking, and just relax by the water.
Attractions & Highlights: During our hikes, we will explore some of the area's best natural attractions, specifically the Jägerspitze and Bockfelsen. These are fantastic viewing points that offer spectacular perspectives overlooking the Hohenwarte from both below and above. Additionally, for the avid hikers among us, there are several Touringen Stempel (hiking stamps) located in the area, so do not forget to bring your stamp booklets!
📍 Travel & Itinerary
Meeting Point: Friday, 24.07 at 14:20 at Jena Paradies, Platform 1. (Please note: Since we are leaving early Friday afternoon, you may need to take a half-day or holiday from work/university).
Outbound Journey: From Jena, we will head to Saalfeld and catch the 15:55 bus directly to the campsite. Unless you are driving your own car, we strongly recommend travelling together with the group!
Return Journey: We will start our trip back on Sunday, 26.07, catching the 14:00 bus from the campsite back to Saalfeld.
💶 Costs & Payment
Budget: The trip will cost 50€, which covers all necessary food, camping fees, and logistics.
Payment : The 50€ must be transferred in advance via bank transfer, and any additional cost will be divided there. Contact organiser!

🎒 What You Need to Know & Bring
Food: We plan to provide the necessary food for the trip. The menu and dietary preferences will be discussed in a separate, dedicated group chat for confirmed participants. Opting out is not an option.
Your Packing List: You must bring your own sleeping equipment (sleeping bag, mat, pillow, etc.) and your own personal cutlery for meals.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, we cannot guarantee a refund unless a replacement is found for your spot.

Due to the length and location of this trip, priority will be given to participants who have already joined us on a previous overnight excursion.
