Welcome to the highlight of our year – the 5th edition of 50 km around Jena! Together, we’ll circle the city and take in its most stunning sights.

Part Start Time. Meeting Point

1 05:30. Hanfried (map)

2 11:30 Papiermühle (map)

3 14:30. Zwätzen, Schleife (map)

4 19:00. Jenzigweg (map)

Part 1

We will catch a tram to from Stadtzentrum Löbdergraben to Göschwitz Bf, and climbing to Mönchsberg for sweeping views over Lobeda and have our first big breakfast. The morning stretch winds through Ammerbach and the Jenaer Forst, reaching Papiermühle at 11:30 (end of part 1).

Part 2

At 11:30 we continue from Papiermühle, passing Napoleonstein and heading on to Zwätzen, Schleife, arriving around 14:30 (end of part 2) with a short visit to Netto.

Part 3

From 14:30, the path takes us to Kunitzburg where we will have our lunch, across the Gleisberg, and up to Jenzig, finishing part 3 at Jenzigweg around 19:00.

Part 4

The final stage begins at 19:00, leading us past Fuchsturm and Fürstenbrunnen (perfect dinner stop) before the last push to Lobdeburg, ending triumphantly at Platanenstraße around 00:00.
